CAFÉLAB IN SPAIN DIRECT
Today we received a very special visit: two reporters from Spain Direct, from RTVE, they have chosen our CafeLab on Intendencia Street in Cartagena, to record how an Asian coffee, the one originally from the city, is prepared.
The journalists, who travel around Spain spreading our culture, customs and gastronomy in the section “A different summer” from the program, they have been impressed with the atmosphere conveyed by the oldest civil building in Cartagena: The King's Houses, where we have the third of our specialty coffee shops in the Murcia region located.
Juan Antonio, one of ours expert baristas, has put on his apron and explained to the cameras how this Asian coffee is made, which, since the end of the 19th century, energized so many sailors at the beginning of their working day, and which today has become a sign of identity of the three-millennial city.
Later, Fran Bernal, founder of CafeLab and master roaster Bernal Cafes, he explained to journalists from La1 how this project was born and has prepared several specialty coffees with different types of filter coffee makers. The reporters, in addition to living the “CaféLab experience” firsthand, have left loaded with our delicious artisanal coffees, which you can also try in any of our specialty coffee shops or in our Online store.
He gave live demonstrations with various types of coffee makers that the guests were able to taste. He roasted and prepared the specialty coffees, surprising the palates of those present. When the interviewers left, they left loaded with our delicious artisanal coffees.
