This decaffeinated Yigarcheffe coffee, which you can also taste in any of our CafeLabs prepared by our baristas, comes from the Tamrat Alemayehu farm.
Its varietal is 71140, natural process. Beans from the Yigarcheffe region of Ethiopia have achieved great fame for producing some of the most sought-after microlots of coffee in the world.
Their cherries are picked manually, ripened in the shade, sent to the mill and selected. They are then dried in the sun for twelve to fifteen days, avoiding the harshest rays and humidity. The green coffee beans are then subjected to the Swiss Water decaffeination process.
Choose these capsules is betting on the environment, since they are compostable: They have a somewhat shorter useful life than other similar products, but in exchange you can dispose of them with organic waste and they will end up becoming compost.
The cardboard packaging is recycled into the paper container.

I ordered three cases the day before yesterday and they arrived this morning. I love Cafelab's Ethiopia! Compostable capsules have nothing to envy of traditional ones.
